Investing.com– U.S. stocks traded in a mixed fashion Friday, with investors digesting a fluid situation in the Middle East, while disappointing guidance from streaming giant Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) weighed on the tech sector.
The tensions in the Middle East could result in stagflationary stocks, analysts at Bank of America Securities said in a note Friday.
Anurag Singh advises against panic selling in Indian markets, recommending holding cash due to uncertain valuations. He says Indian and all other emerging markets face a little bit of danger because whenever oil spikes, dollar flight happens. But, he says, market recovery is anticipated sooner with strong back channel talks despite geopolitical risks.

Indian equity indices continued their decline for the third consecutive session, dragged by IT stocks, amid concerns over delayed US rate cuts and escalating Middle East tensions. US-rate sensitive Nifty IT dropped 2.6% — the most among the major sectors.
The Nifty fell 246.9 points, or 1.1%, to 22,272.50. The Sensex declined 845.12 points, or 1.14%, to 73,399.78 in a volatile trading session that saw mixed responses across the Asia-Pacific to this weekend\’s Iranian drone attacks on Israel. China advanced 1.26%, Hong Kong fell 0.73%, South Korea declined 0.42%, and Taiwan dropped 1.38%.
