Investing.com– U.S. stocks edged higher Thursday, rebounding after another negative session as investors digested more quarterly earnings, including from streaming giant Netflix.
(Reuters) -Memory chip maker Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) is set to receive $6.1 billion in grants from the U.S. Commerce Department to help pay for domestic chip factory projects, Senator Chuck Schumer said on Thursday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 93.90 points, or 0.25%, at the open to 37,847.21.

With $6.5 billion invested in emerging equities, the fund has allocated 26% of its EM equity fund to China, while reducing India to less than half that, according to Edward Evans, a London-based EM equities portfolio manager. He cites a divergence in valuations as the main reason for the decision.
The latest shareholding pattern shows that GQG\’s ownership rose 202 basis points (bps) from 2.51% in December to 4.53% in the March quarter. In the case of Adani Power, the FII\’s stake rose from 1.33% to 5.2% sequentially.
