Investing.com– Chinese entities acquired Nvidia’s most advanced artificial intelligence chips through resellers even after the U.S. last year widened a ban to restrict Chinese access to the technology, a Reuters report showed on Tuesday.
HANOI (Reuters) – Vietnam's top tech firm FPT plans to build a $200 million artificial intelligence (AI) factory using Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA)'s graphics chips and software, the two firms said on Tuesday.
In a Thursday note to clients, analysts at Lynx Equity Strategies said the firm believes semiconductor chip stocks, including NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA), \”have ways to go to the downside.\”
Analysts at Mizuho said in a research note Thursday that they believe there is one semiconductor chip stock that can turn market sentiment higher or lower quickly.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, the dominant producer of advanced chips used in artificial intelligence applications, is expected to report a 5% rise in first-quarter profit on Thursday thanks to strong demand.
