Sensex, Nifty bounced back from day’s lows by nearly 1%. Hitachi Energy India, Oberoi Realty, Bharti Airtel were in focus on Thursday. According to an expert, Bharti Airtel seems to be consolidating in the range of 1,295-1,360 in the last few sessions.
Where the results are good, we are seeing those companies getting very well rewarded, especially in the industrial, capital goods sector, the real estate sector. Retail darlings GameStop and AMC continued their slide for a second straight session on Thursday, as the euphoria over the return of \”Roaring Kitty\”, who was the central figure in 2021 meme stock rally, fizzles out.
Domestic benchmark equity indices advanced on Thursday, led by heavyweight banking and IT stocks. Nifty formed a small Hanging Man pattern on the daily chart. Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, RIL, M&M, SBI, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel were among the most active stocks.
Mutual funds invested Rs 10,000 crore in Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank in April, despite their decline in Nifty rankings.
